Resobox gallery seeks artists who express “Japan” in all media such as traditional calligraphy, painting, photography, anime drawing, short movies and other mixed media.
Gallery representation is offered to talented artists at every stage of their career.
Acceptance is granted only to those whose work qualifies, on the basis of a portfolio review carried out by Resobox gallery team.
SUBMISSION
All submissions to be made via email or CDs with the information below. We don’t accept walk-in submissions.
- No more than 5 images for each material which include the titles, medium, dimensions and retail price.
- Written materials which discuss your work (if any)
- Artist Resume or Statement
- Current gallery representation or affiliation
Do not call or email to follow up your submissions.
Please note that the gallery will not return CDs.
In the event that we wish to further consider your work, we will contact you directly to arrange an appointment.
Approximate response time is one week. If your work is chosen for exhibition, we ask that our artists contribute $50 to share in the promotion costs.
