Exhibition Overview
Starting as a mother wishing the best for her child’s school experience, Harumi Torii established a small school where kids could be comfortable being themselves and helping others. Using these kids’ activities such as their artwork, the “Kids Earth Fund” was created to assist children in expressing their feelings freely through art. With pictures and their own creativity, the Kids Earth Fund allows kids to “paint it” rather than “speak it,” breaking down the border that limits what they would like to express. The Kids Earth Fund has worked with families, kids and teachers from all over the world and are now showing their children’s artworks in New York! As they are now exhibiting in Muji’s 5th Avenue location, RESOBOX will also be exhibiting 40 pieces created by children from all over the globe.
The paintings that make up this exhibition are created by kids from all over the world and Kids Earth Fund hopes that the purity of each child reaches the hearts of everyone who visits. All sales made from the exhibition will be treated as donations and properly given to children in need.
