Dylan Shearer:
Born and raised in Lancaster Ca. in the Mojave Desert. I am now working as a social worker in S.F. Bay area.
I have been making home recordings since I was a kid.
I stopped writing songs for a few years and turned more towards improvisation but returned to song writing after my Dad died.
Most of Planted/Plans was recorded at my apartment in Oakland within the time-frame of a month.
I recorded the songs and over-dubbed banjo, accordion, percussion, piano, bass and keyboards.
This was a time of transition. I had just moved to Oakland from Santa Cruz.
I am now in the process of finishing up an 18 song album called Porch Puddles.
This has been slow to come because I was in grad school for the past two years.
I also have two previous albums worth of songs, an EP and Carousel to a door.

Paradise Club
Paradise Club is a musical group that creates a soundtrack for the dystopian bombed-out psychosexual resort of the mind. Wage Workers
Wage Workers combines the songwriting of Mike Wilson and the percussion of Nick Chen. They collaborate in many forms, drawing inspiration from outer space, oceanic life/death, and a slew of working class heroes that play shoulder to shoulder with them. Their sound varies inconsistently between the classic song structure of the love-lorn chanson and the enigmatic sound of a brain hot-wired with too many vices. For this performance they will be joined by Brandon White on bass, Fumio Tashiro on upright/bowed loops, Karel VanBeekom on Saxophone and Haruyasu Yanagi will join us with live paining performance .
Haruyasu Yanagi is a Japanese painter and conceptual artist who has dedicated himself to expression of the brilliant He also hopes that, while participating in this conceptual art, people will feel something precious, which he thinks is their positive and natural character. His interests are the interaction and stimulation of each other through his art work.aspects of humanity which he thinks everyone and everything has. Many people sense purity and brightness upon seeing his paintings.
