In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to craft Taiyaki using not only the classic sweet batter but also a unique matcha-flavored version. You’ll also get the chance to experiment with a variety of exciting fillings, from sweet potato paste to savory cheese and chewy mochi.
This isn’t just about cooking—it’s about discovering new flavor combinations and having fun in the kitchen! Whether you’re a foodie, a baking enthusiast, or simply looking for a fun cultural activity, this workshop is a flavorful journey you won’t want to miss.
What to Expect:
• Make Two Types of Batter – Create both classic and matcha Taiyaki batters for color and flavor variety.
• Hands-On Taiyaki Making – Use a Taiyaki maker to fill your pastries with a mix of ingredients such as Japanese sweet potato paste, cheese, mochi, and more.
• À la Mode Option – Top your Taiyaki with matcha ice cream and sweet red beans for a dessert-style version!

• 15:00–15:10 – Welcome & Introduction to Taiyaki
• 15:10–16:10 – Taiyaki Cooking Session with Tomoko (classic and matcha batters, various fillings)
• 16:10–16:30 – Taiyaki Tasting & Q&A
