SUMMARY:Eileen's Special Cheesecake Meets Miyabi's White Strawberry
DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to introduce Miyabi’s White\, a brand of Japanese strawberries\, to Eileen’s Special Cheesecake\, a cheesecake shop adored by many New Yorkers\, established in 1974. \n“Miyabi’s White” is a premium product carefully grown by “Ichigolus\,” a farmer in Kumamoto Prefecture\, Japan\, who produces a variety of brand-name strawberries. It is a rare white strawberry with a deep sweetness and sourness\, and costs $50 for 15 pieces. \nEileen’s Special Cheesecake is a family-owned business and a New York specialty\, and its fans include New Yorkers\, tourists\, and foodies all over the world. It has been featured in popular magazines such as “Eater” and “TimeOut\,” as well as in the “Food & Wine” list of “BEST CHEESECAKES in AMERICA” in 2019\, and continues gathering new accolades to this day. Bonnie Ponte\, the second-generation owner of Eileen’s Special Cheesecake\, tasted “Miyabi’s White” and enjoyed the taste and the unique color\, which made this collaboration project possible. \nFor the first time ever\, on March 4 and 5\, 2022\, 300 servings of Miyabi’s White Cheesecake will be sold at the Eileen’s Special Cheesecake store (17 Cleveland Place\, New York\, NY 10012). Sales will start at noon on March 4th\, and last until supplies run out. Based on the response from New Yorkers\, we hope to expand the product to more establishments in the U.S. in the future.
