On June 20, 2024, RESOBOX hosted an origami class for Magic EdTech, an educational technology company based in New York. This session was organized as part of the company’s corporate culture activities aimed at enhancing employee creativity and promoting team-building.
Magic EdTech, known for providing digital learning solutions, is an innovator in the field of educational technology. This origami class offered employees not only an opportunity to learn a new skill but also a space for communication, focus, and mindfulness. The class was taught by origami artist Talo Kawasaki, who has been sharing the art of origami through beginner-friendly programs in New York. Participants created traditional origami pieces like cranes and animals, enjoying the art while gaining an introduction to Japanese culture. (More about Talo Kawasaki’s work and projects can be found in this interview, available in Japanese.)
RESOBOX will continue to promote the charm of Japanese culture and encourage cultural exchange through classes offered to both companies and individuals.
