SUGIMOTO Shiitake, headquartered in Takachiho Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, is continuing to expand its presence in the New York market. Since 2021, RESOBOX has been supporting SUGIMOTO Shiitake’s entry into the U.S. market, and we are excited to announce a new collaboration with one of the leading companies in the U.S., Curio Spice.
Curio Spice was founded in 2015 by Claire Cheney and specializes in organic spices sourced directly from farmers using sustainable methods. Their spices are known for their unique flavors and high quality, sourced from small, sustainable farms.
In this project, we traveled with the president of SUGIMOTO Shiitake to meet with four executives from Curio Spice and conducted a presentation on Japanese Shiitake Powder. Having studied the product in advance, Curio Spice gave it high marks, and this partnership was successfully established.
