Ichigolus, inc. (Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture), a company we are helping expand into the U.S. market, collaborated with Eileen’s Special Cheesecake, a popular New York dessert shop. This team-up was featured in the Asahi Shimbun, Kumamoto Nichinichi Shimbun, Japan Food Journal, and Yahoo! News.

After publication, we were contacted by the newspapers, who told us that readers were delighted to hear how Japanese products were praised overseas.
This project was made possible by the strong personal connections we have built with local companies in New York since our founding. We will continue to engage in activities to promote Japanese products in the United States.
When Resobox President Takashi Ikezawa visited the Ichigolus facilities in Tamana City, Kumamoto Prefecture on April 24, 2022, Mr. Tatsunori Morikawa, the CEO, gave us positive feedback about this project, noting that “the number of followers on SNS increased a lot” and “consumers became more aware of their strawberries.”
