Event Overview
Japanese amigurumi artist and participating artist in our World Amigurumi Exhibition, Lumièna, will be visiting New York to teach her own amigurumi class! Join us this January 17th for a class on sushi amigurumi! As a guest instructor, Lumièna will teach our students how to make three different types of hand-formed sushi, tuna, shrimp and omelette as a part of RESOBOX’s usual amigurumi class.
No crochet experience is needed! Anyone, beginners or advanced learners are welcome to the event! Moreover, the cute sushi amigurumi you make will be yours to take back home!

About the Instructor
Lumièna
Amigurumi Artist
Lumièna is an Amigurumi artist born in Okayama, Japan in 1973. Her mottos are to pursue the potential of the yarn, and to enjoy every process to become a three-dimensional art from a simple strand of yarn. She dreams of being an amigurumi nomad, holding just one crochet hook in her hand, traveling around the world, and making amigurumi with local people.
