On July 13, 2024, Chef Kita, an experienced sushi chef based in New York City, led a corporate sushi-making class organized by RESOBOX. This event was requested by SecurityScorecard, a New York-based cybersecurity company specializing in assessing organizational cyber risks and providing third-party risk management services to protect against cyberattacks.
Welcoming twelve employees from a wide range of ages and backgrounds, this class focused on creating custom sushi rolls. Using bamboo mats, participants filled nori (seaweed) and sushi rice with their choice of ingredients, such as cucumber, avocado, tuna, salmon, and sea urchin, to craft their own unique sushi rolls. The hands-on experience, held at the SecurityScorecard office, allowed participants to add their personal flair to the rolls while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere, fostering interaction with colleagues and offering a taste of Japanese culinary culture.
The class served as both a team-building activity and a moment of relaxation, offering participants the opportunity to experience traditional sushi-making techniques and savor the flavors of Japanese cuisine. At RESOBOX, we specialize in corporate cultural classes like this, designed to promote team connection and provide a delightful break from the workplace, which many companies and their employees enjoy and appreciate.
