About the Instructor
Fuyuki was born in 1987 in Japan. He later entered Tama Art University and majored in information design. After graduating from university, he worked in advertising company for 4 years. As a student, Carton was attracted to a piece of cardboard that had very interesting graphics. He realized that people often throw those pieces of cardboard when they are finished using them. Thinking that it was a waste, he began to start his project. Now, Carton make products from used cardboard pieces that he has picked up from more than 30 countries.

FROM ALL CORNERS shares the story of Japanese artist Fuyuki Shimazu, who creates wallets made from used cardboard gathered from 27 countries. His wallets travel around the world to promote the concept of "upcycling," a thought process beyond simply recycling or re-use.
