Learn Japanese sword fight with veteran performers from a renowned action-stunt company from Japan just in time for Samurai Shakespeare Theatrical Event! Grab a wooden practice sword, start with the basic movements of different attacks and move up to choreographed stage fights!

Samurai Shakespeare R&J opens with the last scene from “Romeo and Juliet” where the parents of the young couple find their bodies, hand in hand. The investigation by Prince Escalus, the agony of Friar Laurence, and the romance of Romeo and Juliet that came to an end too quickly and unexpectedly—Set in Japanese Samurai period, the play also questions “the meaning of life and death” “what it means to fight” “what a sword symbolizes.” The story unfolds with series of Japanese sword-fighting and folk dances.
