RESOBOX Japanese Cooking Workshop Series #5: Saba Miso (Mackerel Simmered in Miso) Workshop
Saba miso is a traditional Japanese fish dish. It is loved by everyone from children to adults. Saba miso is simmered mackerel in sweet miso sauce and goes well with rice and sake (Japanese rice wine). Mackerel is not only delicious, but also has great health benefits. It helps to create healthy blood cells and promotes brain cell growth. In addition to saba miso, we will also make carrot smoothies which detoxify the blood.
In this workshop led by instructor Asako Nonaka, you will learn how to cook saba miso and blend carrot smoothies so you can make them on your own at home. After cooking, we will enjoy eating a delicious detoxifying meal together.
Let’s enjoy cooking and detoxifying our bodies!
