Gunpla After School: Gundam Plastic Model Kit Building
Join us for an after-school Gundam Plastic Model (Gunpla) workshop where children dive into the exciting world of model building! In this hands-on program, students in grades 4–8 learn how to build, paint, and customize their own Gunpla models. Kits, tools, paints, and all required materials are provided.
Build more than models
In this workshop, students in grades 4–8 don’t just enjoy building—they strengthen spatial reasoning, basic math and geometry, and logical problem-solving while bringing 3D designs to life. Guided by an experienced instructor, kids learn to plan, measure, follow precise steps, and think creatively as they assemble, paint, and customize their own kits. Every session blends hands-on making with STEM-aligned skills in a fun, supportive studio. All tools and materials are provided.
What is Gunpla?
Gunpla are plastic model kits based on the iconic mecha characters and machinery from the beloved Gundam anime series. Originating in Japan in the 1980s, Gunpla quickly gained popularity and spread globally throughout the 1990s. Today, hundreds of thousands of enthusiasts worldwide enjoy the rewarding hobby of building these intricate models.

Since its debut in 1979, Gundam has expanded into numerous anime series, films, manga, video games, and, of course, the popular Gunpla model kits.
