About the Presenters
Nina Ishi
Designer
Nina Ishi, a bilingual fashion content creator and digital marketing specialist based in NYC, originally hails from Japan. Her journey led her to the vibrant city of New York, where she pursued her passion for fashion. Currently, Nina is a dedicated fashion business student at FIT in NYC.
Throughout her academic journey, Nina seized valuable opportunities to intern at renowned fashion houses, including The Row, Proenza Schouler, and Carolina Herrera. During these internships, she honed her skills as a PR and VIP intern, gaining valuable insights into the fashion industry.
What truly sets Nina apart is her entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to her academic and internship commitments, she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, taking the bold step of launching her very own brand. It's worth noting that Nina also began exploring the art of crochet two years ago, adding a unique dimension to her creative repertoire. Her multifaceted talents and dedication to the world of fashion make her a standout figure in the industry.
Minamihashi Shoji

Minamihashi Shoji is a Japanese sweet potato farm located in Kanoya City in Kagoshima Prefecture. This area has long been known for its cultivation of Satsumaimo, thanks to its hearty soil enriched by the nearby Sakurajima volcano.
The farmers of Minamihashi Shoji have been producing, processing, and selling Satsumaimo since the Showa era, and its Beni Haruka have been exported to Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries, gaining new fans all over the world. The farm also grows Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes used in confectionery, and develops processed products using Beni Haruka.
