How It Works

Choose a voucher
A Class ($90) covers any of our classes — sumi-e ink painting, ikebana, tea ceremony, nerikiri wagashi, decorative sushi rolling, kumiko woodworking, mizuhiki and more. Bonsai has its own voucher ($185), and Miniature Food-Making ($100) is not covered by class vouchers.

We send it
We email the voucher to you, or straight to the recipient with a message from you — usually the same day, always within one business day.

They choose their class
The recipient looks through the upcoming dates on our Classes page and emails us with the class and the date. We confirm the seat and take care of the rest.
It is one class, not a dollar balance. Whichever eligible class the recipient chooses, the voucher covers it in full — there is nothing to top up and nothing left over, and it never expires. Please also note that a voucher does not reserve a seat: every class is prepared for a fixed number of participants, so we are not able to accept walk-ins, even with a voucher in hand. A Gift They’ll Remember
Birthdays, holidays, thank-yous, or team rewards — a hands-on cultural experience makes a more meaningful gift than another object. Giving more than one? Just set the quantity at checkout: two vouchers work for two people at the same class, or for one person coming twice.
