Information We Collect
Contact & Waitlist Forms When you use our contact forms or join a class waitlist, we collect your name, email address, and your message or the class you are interested in. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and to let you know about class openings.
Class & Event Registrations When you register for classes or events, payments are processed through Square, and some events are ticketed through Eventbrite. We do not store your payment card information on our servers; payment data is handled by these providers under their own privacy policies. We receive the registration details needed to run the class, such as your name, email address, and the session you booked. If you book through another platform (such as ClassBento, CourseHorse, Fever, or Airbnb Experiences), that platform’s privacy policy applies to your booking, and we receive the attendee information needed to host you.
Newsletter If you sign up for our mailing list, we store your email address (and name, if provided) with our email marketing providers (Square Marketing / Mailchimp) and use it to send you news about our classes and events. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
Chat Our website offers a chat assistant. Conversations are processed by our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate responses, and are stored so we can follow up and improve the service. If you ask to talk to a member of our staff and choose to share your name or email address, our team is notified through our internal messaging tools and will reply to you.
Analytics & Advertising We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (such as pages visited, browser type, and approximate location). We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our advertising and to reach people who may be interested in our classes. These tools use cookies; see “Cookies” below for your choices.
Service Providers We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate this website and our programs — payment and ticketing (Square, Eventbrite), email marketing (Square Marketing / Mailchimp), analytics and advertising (Google, Meta), website hosting and security, and our chat provider (Anthropic) — and we share only the minimum information needed for them to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies Our website uses cookies: essential cookies set by WordPress, Elementor, and our security tools (such as Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from spam); analytics cookies (Google Analytics); and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel). Data Retention We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described above: contact and waitlist messages while your inquiry is active, mailing list information until you unsubscribe, and registration records as required for accounting and legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
