SEIGADO is a Japanese company that has designed and produced lacquerware with traditional techniques since 1917.
The lacquerware maker has developed various products collaborated with designers mainly from three prefectures in the Hokuriku region (Ishikawa, Toyama, and Fukui).
Because the founder of the company was passionate about creating new products while continuing to respect tradition, the craftsmanship of SEIGADO has been inherited to this day.
To bring the new value built on its spirits to the future, SEIGADO will never stop trying.
*This skateboard deck is not recommended to ride since the gold foil is easy to peel off.

Igusa is the material that makes up tatami, a traditional Japanese flooring mat. This material demonstrates outstanding functionalities such as air purification, soaking up humidity and anti-bacterial benefits. Amazingly, it also keeps from six months to up to one year, and does not require any care of it at all, not even water. Instead of using flowers, Igusa can be displayed beautifully as an object. Description／Introducing “Kagamibiraki” from Japan to the world
Kishimoto Kichiji Shoten was stablished in the 5th year of Meiji (1872) in the famous Sake making region of Amagasaki.
Ever since the establishment, most Shirushikomos (straw mat covering sake barrels with the stamp of the brand name) have been produced by Kishimoto Kichiji Syouten.
Kagamibiraki is a Japanese traditional celebration at a ceremony or holiday by cracking open a sake barrel with wooden mallets for a good opening and start, and sharing the sake with people gathered and making a toast. We wish you enjoy the traditional way to celebrate by “Kagamibiraki”

Mozuku
Description／“A well-known super food from Okinawa”
Mozuku is one of the most common Japanese seaweed types that is high in fiber, rich in minerals and vitamins, low calorie and also holds a significant amount of fucoidan that may block cancer cells from developing and growing. Since the product is the dry type of seaweed, it is “weight-saving” (with a dry to wet ratio of 1:25 in terms of weight), “space-saving” and a shelf life as long as one year. To enjoy mozuku, it must be soaked in water for 20 minutes to rehydrate the seaweed.

It is said to have started back in 1834, when Kyubei Kagaya of a glass shop in Edo Odenmacho sculpted on the surface of a glass. The cut is of each piece is very detailed, and the finish is clear and brilliant. The patterns used in our collections are some of the most standard Japanese patterns. Jika-tabi (meaning “tabi that contact the ground”) were developed to provide a good grip in outdoor areas where footing might be poor. Because the jika-tabi separates the big toes from the other toes, it allows the big toe to firmly grips irregular surfaces such as rooftops, or uneven ground, while enabling the thin sole to transmit the texture and shape of the ground to allow the wearer to adjust their movements dynamically.
