Miniature Food-Making: Japanese Bento – Onigiri, Tamagoyaki & Karaage

September 27 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Miniature onigiri bento box with tiny rice balls, tamagoyaki, karaage and a grape tomato, held with chopsticks on a picnic cloth

Are you a Japanese food lover? Have you ever made onigiri before? How about miniature onigiri?

Join us for a fun and creative Miniature Japanese Bento Workshop!

In this workshop, we’ll create a realistic and adorable miniature bento box featuring some classic Japanese favorites: onigiri (rice balls), tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), karaage (fried chicken), and a grape tomato — all made from polymer clay!

You’ll learn how to shape, color, and add realistic details to each miniature food item before arranging everything into your own tiny bento box.

This class is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone who loves crafting, Japanese food, or miniature art.

Skill Level: Beginner-friendly (Recommended age: 10+)
What to Bring: Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy, or bring an apron.
Before the Workshop: For your comfort and safety, we recommend keeping your nails short and removing any jewelry from your hands and wrists before the workshop.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration closes 24 hours before the session. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session are nonrefundable.
