Mizuhiki Art Card Making for Mother’s Day – Cat

Mizuhiki Art Card Making for Mother’s Day
Come create something truly meaningful this Mother’s Day — the special Mizuhiki Card Workshop on May 3rd.
Mizuhiki is a traditional Japanese decorative cord that symbolizes connection, gratitude, and heartfelt wishes. In this workshop, you’ll explore this meaningful craft while creating a piece featuring a paper frame that elevates your mizuhiki card into a small work of art — designed to be displayed on a table or hung on a wall.
We are offering two 1-hour sessions designed for different levels of experience and creative interest.
11:00 AM session: Beginner-friendly, this session focuses on a cute, approachable Mother’s Day card design featuring two small cats. The motif can be seen as a parent and child, or simply as two companions — adding a gentle, heartwarming touch to your creation. It’s perfect for first-timers or anyone looking for a relaxed and enjoyable creative experience. No prior experience needed — just come and enjoy the process.
12:30 PM session: For those who enjoy crafting or are looking for a slightly more detailed experience, this session features a carnation motif incorporating a slightly more intricate mizuhiki knot. It’s ideal for returning participants, craft enthusiasts, or anyone who would like to explore a bit more depth in technique and design.
You’re also very welcome to join both sessions and complete the full experience — creating two different designs that complement each other beautifully.

This workshop is warmly open to everyone: individual participants, couples seeking a shared creative experience, parents and teens, and anyone who simply enjoys hands-on making for a meaningful creative moment.
Spots are limited — we look forward to seeing you there!
