A Bonsai Workshop for 60 at a Global Fashion Brand’s Company-Wide Gathering

A global fashion brand gathered its team from around the world for its annual company-wide event in New York. To mark a renewed company vision, all 60 team members took part in a hands-on bonsai workshop.

Why bonsai? Each person shapes a small tree with their own hands, and from that day it keeps growing, pruned, tended and refined a little more by its owner over time. Not a tree that simply grows as it is told to, but one shaped by the person who cares for it. For a company beginning a new chapter together, there was no better material.

The workshop was led by Matthew of Dandy Farmer, a Brooklyn bonsai studio. Japanese culture and a Brooklyn studio creating something together — exactly the kind of cultural crossover at the heart of RESOBOX.

RESOBOX plans and produces private Japanese cultural workshops for companies and teams (bonsai, kimekomi, ikebana, mizuhiki, sumi-e and more) at our East Village studio or on-site at your office.
