Sakurado Rice Cracker Tasting Event at Onigiri Tanakaya in New York
RESOBOX organized an in-store tasting pop-up at Onigiri Tanakaya in New York for Sakura Seika (brand: Sakurado), a premium rice cracker maker founded in 1950 in Shibata City, Niigata. The event was held as part of a Niigata Prefecture project to bring the region's specialty foods to overseas markets.
"To Taste It Is to Believe It"
Premium rice crackers are often seen as a luxury snack, but Sakurado's variety and quality are in a league of their own. Once customers tried a few samples, they couldn't get enough — watching the crackers fly off the shelves was a remarkable sight.
A huge thank-you to owner Masako-san, who believed in this project from the very first pitch and generously opened her store for the event.
