RESOBOX recently held a tea ceremony class for employees at LinkedIn’s New York office, led by Yoshi Nagano of the Ueda Sōko tradition.
In the 2024 fiscal year, we collaborated with representatives from over 60 companies based in New York—including major firms in IT, finance, and real estate, such as Delos, to provide a diverse range of Japanese cultural experiences. These included bonsai, decorative sushi rolls, sumi-e ink painting, origami, ikebana flower arrangement, and more. This year, we aim to expand our reach to 100 companies, sharing the charm of Japanese culture with an even broader audience.
Our classes are conducted in a 100% hands-on format, allowing all participants to actively engage and create. These experiences have not only served as team-building opportunities but also as a means to explore design thinking through traditional Japanese arts and contribute to employee development programs.
If your company is interested in hosting a cultural class, feel free to reach out—we’d love to bring a uniquely Japanese experience to your team.
