Ikebana: Japanese Flower Arrangement Ohara Style
by HANADOJO
Arrange flowers the Japanese way — with grace, intention, and natural beauty

Japanese flower arrangement Ikebana seasonal floral design workshop at RESOBOX East Village NYC

Welcome to the HANADOJO’s upcoming In-Person Ikebana journey

IKEBANA, one of the most traditional art forms of Japan, represents an “Appreciation of Nature,” offering a unique and refined approach to flower arrangement.

In this class, we don’t simply arrange flowers. We learn how to observe and work with nature. The arrangement comes out of that process, rather than being constructed.

In this 4-series small group in-person course, we provide an opportunity for people of all levels to learn Ohara-style Ikebana, one of the most established Ikebana institutions in the world. Here, you will not only master the basic techniques of Ohara Ikebana, but also learn how to bring an awareness of nature into your everyday life.

For those who wish to pursue a deeper level of study, we will introduce the curriculum of the Ohara School of Ikebana, through which you may receive certification from the headquarters in Tokyo.

Upon completion of this course, participants may have the opportunity to receive an international certification at an additional cost.

Just want to give it a try? Feel free to join us for any single class.
