RESOBOX hosted an ikebana workshop at Intuit's New York office with instructor Chiaki Torisu, bringing Japanese flower arrangement into a corporate setting.

Ikebana in a Modern Office Environment

The workshop introduced participants to the foundations of ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Guided by Chiaki Torisu of the Sogetsu school, participants explored balance, line, space, and the relationship between natural materials and human intention.

The session was lively and hands-on, giving participants a chance to step away from their usual workday rhythm and engage with flowers through observation, composition, and creative decision-making.

Corporate Culture Through Japanese Arts

Intuit is widely known for products such as QuickBooks, TurboTax, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp. Bringing ikebana into this kind of technology-driven workplace demonstrated how Japanese cultural programs can support creativity, reflection, and team connection.

RESOBOX continues to expand its corporate workshop offerings for companies and organizations seeking meaningful cultural experiences in New York.
