RESOBOX Launches and Grows Its Mizuhiki Class

Students holding their finished mizuhiki works at the RESOBOX mizuhiki class

Late last year RESOBOX launched a class dedicated to mizuhiki, the traditional Japanese art of decorative paper cords, taught by instructor Satoi Adams (Ms. Kobayashi).

Discovering the Art of the Knot

Session by session, students learn the basic knots and turn them into jewelry, cards, and seasonal ornaments. The delicate beauty and expressive potential of mizuhiki are a discovery even for us — and sharing that journey with students is exactly what makes this class special.

Seasonal Themes, Growing Community

The class explores a new theme each time — from Valentine's motifs to seasonal flowers — and its community of returning students continues to grow. If you are curious about this graceful craft, we would love to welcome you.
